Conor Mortimer has heaped praise on the Mayo forward line after Sunday’s stunning All-Ireland quarter-final victory over Donegal.

There were few scenes more pleasing to the eye for Mayo supporters during Sunday’s Connacht final than that of Cillian O’Connor scoring a hat-trick of goals and popping over frees with his customary aplomb.

His team have amassed an aggregate winning margin of 29 points in their two Championship outings so far and James Horan doesn’t mind it one bit.
