50 Cent insists his mentor Eminem will bounce back despite the recent death of best friend Proof, and his impending second divorce from his wife Kim.

The suspect in the shooting death of rapper Proof, a hip-hop artist and Eminem confidante, appeared in court today on weapons charges.

Eminem has praised rapper Proof, who was shot dead earlier this week, for his “guidance and encouragement,” calling him “my best friend,” in a posting on his website.

Proof, a member of the rap group D12 and a close friend of Eminem, was killed in a shooting at a Detroit nightclub along Eight Mile Road this morning.
