Marts: The merging of three midland livestock marts into one society is expected to get a vote of approval from shareholders in Offaly at a meeting at Birr tomorrow night.

Shareholders in Birr and Nenagh marts have been urged to deliver a strong yes vote in support of proposals to create a new mart society, Central Auctions, at special general meetings in both towns on November 8.
