A consultant forensic psychiatrist has told the jury in the trial of a 42-year-old Louth woman charged with murdering her partner last year that the accused had the capacity to form intent and was not impaired by her mental disorder on the night of the offence.

A Deputy State Pathologist has told a murder trial jury that a 30 year old man was stabbed four times, with the fatal blow being an 18cm deep stab wound to his left shoulder which penetrated his lung.
