A status red wind warning is now in place for Clare and Galway as Storm Jorge hits Ireland.

Its strong winds and heavy rain caused power cuts, fallen trees and flooding when it hit yesterday.

The clean-up begins after tens of thousands of homes across the country were affected by Storm Hannah overnight.
