Anti-Austerity Alliance TD Mick Barry has had the front of his constituency office in Blackpool, Cork, sprayed with the words ‘baby killer out’ overnight.

Fine Gael TD Aine Collins says an incident in the Dáil with her colleague Tom Barry last week was not typical of the chamber.

It was initially excused as “horseplay” by Fine Gael - behaviour more befitting of a bar that the Dail chamber.

Fine Gael TD, Tom Barry, has called for social media websites to make financial contributions towards the legal costs involved in fighting online abuse.
