LAWYERS for the Planning Tribunal have claimed a £10,000 cash payment by a well-known businessman to Frank Dunlop in 1993 had none of the hallmarks of “a legitimate, professional transaction”.

PLANS for housing on land that two businessmen wanted rezoned were drawn up by an architect at the request of politician GV Wright, the planning tribunal heard yesterday.

FRANK Dunlop claims he paid Fianna Fáil TD GV Wright £2,000 to help rezone agricultural land which later sold for millions.
