PAULA RADCLIFFE secured her third world record of the year yesterday with a stupendous performance over five kilometres, to win the Flora Light Challenge for Women in London’s Hyde Park.

British athlete Paula Radcliffe breaks world five kilometre road record, winning the Flora Light Women’s Challenge at Hyde Park in London with a time of 14 minutes, 51 seconds, bettering the old mark by three seconds.

Race favourite Paula Radcliffe has shrugged off the fact the weather is unlikely to be helpful when she bids for the LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon title on Sunday.
