The latest Anglo tapes reveal senior bank executives knew that the Bank was in trouble a year before the bank guarantee.

THE former chief executive of Anglo Irish Bank’s British arm walked away from the bank last year with €3.2m in goodbye money.

Collapsed Anglo Irish Bank paid top management €19m in the 15 months to the end of last year, including €7m in salaries and €1m in directors' fees.
