A Cork man on trial for having €32,000 worth of heroin who claimed he had only gone to Limerick to get papers for his pet Chihuahua was found guilty yesterday.

A jury will consider its verdict today in the case against a Cork man on trial for having €32,000 worth of heroin near Mallow last February.

A Cork man on trial for having €40,000 worth of heroin told gardaí it was a dirty drug he disapproved of, it had nothing to do with him and he had only gone to Limerick to get papers for his pet Chihuahua.
