A 21-YEAR-OLD Defence Forces airman who claimed passive cannabis smoking as his defence has lost a High Court case aimed at preventing his discharge from the army.

AN AIRMAN in the Defence Forces is challenging his proposed discharge from the aircorps on grounds that he passively inhaled cannabis in his car while in the company of two friends.
