A voluntary group driving efforts to save one of the country’s finest Georgian villas has made a public appeal to its wealthy US- based owner to live up to his responsibilities and help them with the ambitious project.

A BLUEPRINT for the multi-billion euro redevelopment of Cork’s north docks area, that includes 1,500 new homes and a 5,000-seat national events centre, was launched yesterday.
