Sligo Rovers moved to within four points of leaders St Patrick’s Athletic after they secured their first win in five, and just second in nine, by comprehensively defeating UCD 5-2 at the Showgrounds on Saturday evening.

European competition and live television requirements mean that, with the top-flight restricted to just two fixtures this evening, the Airtricity League game of the day is in the First Division, where third hosts second as Waterford United face Limerick at the RSC (7.45pm).
