A 10-year old boy, who suffered catastrophic injuries and is left a quadriplegic after the car his mother was driving crashed, has settled his High Court action for damages for €11.5m.

The High Court has approved an €11.5m personal injuries settlement to a 10-year-old boy who suffered catastrophic injuries in a car accident, the largest in Irish legal history.
