FORENSIC gardaí are preparing to trawl through seven PCs and laptops suspected of containing child pornography after a raid on a house in Mayo.

CHILDREN as young as eight are looking at pornography on the internet and one in four eight to 17-year-olds accidentally access porn websites.

REPORTS of alleged child pornography on the internet are increasing by a rate of 50% each year, according to web watchdog, hotline.ie.
