The widow and father-in-law of slain Limerick man Jason Corbett, who was allegedly beaten to death with a baseball bat at his home in the US, are to face trial charged with his killing.

The Corbetts have initiated a High Court case against LSREF III Achill Investments Ltd which obtained the judgment against them last month. A second judgment for another €10.5m was also obtained against Michael Corbett.
