THE Irish Examiner has collected another two awards for its investigation into suicide.

A disease that claims nearly 1,000 Irish lives every year could be stopped in its tracks if the Government acts now, a leading medic said today.

BOWEL cancer, which kills 500 men a year in this country, is at an all-time high. However, the majority of men do not understand either the risk factors or the symptoms of this common disease.
