A 123-strong entry has been received for the first major race of the 2006 Flat season, the £100,000 (€146,000) William Hill Lincoln, to be run this year at Redcar on March 25.

Pablo, trained by Barry Hills and ridden by his son Michael, won the £100,000 (€148,000) Freephone Stanley Lincoln at Doncaster today.

Alec Stewart expressed himself satisfied with the stall positions of his two fancied Freephone Stanley Lincoln contenders Colisay and Selective following the draw for Saturday’s big handicap at Doncaster.
