As relations deteriorate even further between Irish Rail and its unions, the mood between Luas management and staff appears to have moved from confrontational to constructive, at least for now.

Unions at Irish Rail say the only way strike action planned for next Sunday and Monday can be averted is if the company and the Government freeze the implementation of pay cuts.
