Disgraced Radio 1 DJ Chris Denning has pleaded guilty to 21 historical child sex offences as part of a police investigation into a youth disco.

Gary Glitter is the latest in a string of high-profile celebrities to be convicted following investigations by Scotland Yard’s Operation Yewtree.

In the UK, a former Radio One DJ is believed to have been arrested over historical sex offences.
