It is believed that outgoing AIB chief financial officer Paul Stanley will become the next finance chief at Ulster Bank.

ULSTER BANK’S financial woes continued in the first quarter of this year, with the British-owned bank recording an operating loss of £377 million (€441m) - £240m more than for the same period last year.

ULSTER BANK has named former Royal Bank of Canada executive, Charles McManus, as its new chief financial officer; but stressed that its hunt for a new chief executive remains “ongoing”.
