A seventh pointed free by Jason Curry in the sixth minute of added time earned Waterford a deserved draw in the Fraher Field, Dungarvan, in Sunday's Allianz Football League Division 4 title.

The Leinster side held a six-point cushion – 1-3 to no score – after 12 minutes, but the Saffrons reeled in the deficit after the break.

For 52 minutes or so of Saturday’s Drummond Cup decider, this was a near-perfect performance from St Mary’s CBS.
