PAUL TOWNEND, the teenage sensation of 2008, rounded off the old year with a spectacular treble at Tramore yesterday.

NO FULL, last seen when falling at the sixth in the Aintree Grand National in April, made a fine seasonal debut when running his rivals ragged in the Jet O’Carroll Memorial Novice Hurdle at Listowel yesterday.
