Police have cancelled a concert by a reggae star whose lyrics are alleged to be homophobic.

Reggae dancehall star Buju Banton has been banned from entering the US, following a conviction on marijuana charges in his native Jamaica earlier this year.

Grammy nominee Buju Banton today pleaded not guilty to marijuana possession charges when he appeared in a Jamaican court on Monday.
