The town of Newry is reeling, after the death of one of the North's wealthiest businessmen.

One of the people killed when a helicopter crashed in thick fog in the UK was Northern Irish businessman Eddie Haughey, according to reports.

ACTOR and political activist Ron Silver, who won a Tony Award as a take-no-prisoners Hollywood producer in David Mamet’s Speed-the-Plow, died on Sunday at the age of 62.
