The Korean Olympic Committee want the International Olympic Committee to investigate what led fencer Shin A Lam to spend more than an hour — much of it in tears — waiting to be told her dream of games gold was over on Monday.

South Korean fencer Shin A Lam left the ExCeL arena without a medal last night, but with the sympathies of everyone in the crowd after one of the biggest controversies fencing has ever seen.
