THE judge overseeing bombing conspirator Terry Nichols' state trial on 162 first-degree murder counts entered a not guilty plea on Nichols' behalf during arraignment yesterday.

Ending months of speculation over whether he would drop the case, the new district attorney in Oklahoma City said he will prosecute bombing conspirator Terry Nichols on state murder charges that could bring the death penalty.
