Brian Cody has avoided suspension for comments about referee Barry Kelly in the wake of Kilkenny’s All-Ireland hurling final replay win over Tipperary last month.

After a hearing in Croke Park last night, the GAA have ruled that recent comments made by Kilkenny manager Brian Cody about referee Barry Kelly do not warrant a sanction.
