The past pupils of two Cork schools are joining forces to honour one of the country’s greatest education innovators.

THE skies over Cork will be lit up by a spectacular laser show this week to honour the father of vocational education in Ireland.

A VAST collection of historic documents which sheds light on the early work in Cork of submarine inventor John Phillip Holland was presented to the country’s maritime college yesterday.
