A LOVING mother whose mentally ill husband killed their two daughters before he committed suicide held back the tears as she tried to explain the impact the tragedy has had on her life.

GARDAÍ believe that 43-year-old John Butler killed his two daughters at their home in east Cork before dousing his car in petrol and deliberately crashing it at high speed into a ditch.
