A senior campaign worker for Canada’s governing Conservative Party has resigned after admitting writing a pro-Iraq war speech for prime minister Stephen Harper that plagiarised another world leader’s address.

RELATIVES of some of the 329 people killed in the Air India bombing have criticised the Canadian Prime Minister for failing to launch a public inquiry.

Leaders from Canada and Ireland are this week joining families of the victims of the 1985 Air India crash off the Irish coast for a memorial service to mark the 20th anniversary of the tragedy.
