A 24-year-old Dublin man who caused the death of a young friend through his “reprehensible” dangerous driving has avoided a custodial sentence.

A man who was driving for only three weeks when his vehicle overturned at a speed of 134kph on the M50 has been given a suspended sentence for dangerous driving causing a female friend’s death.
