BAD blood allegedly existed between murder suspect Ian Bailey and a former friend who gave evidence in a libel trial against the English-born freelance journalist nearly two years ago, a district court heard yesterday.

Two witnesses have been banned from the courtroom where Ian Bailey is taking his libel action after he claimed that he had been the victim of intimidation.

Ian Bailey complained he was under siege by paparazzi after his arrest for the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier and was still under siege everywhere he went.
