LISTOWEL has become yet another victim of the dreadful weather and their Festival, due to start this coming Sunday, has been put back to the following Tuesday.

IRISH racing hit a new low at Tramore yesterday when the first afternoon of the annual Festival had to be abandoned after the third race.

Punchestown racecourse has been given the go ahead to resume racing next month.
