Gardaí found a man watching a match on TV in an apartment that contained the rotting corpse of a missing person, an inquest heard.

A man who concealed the body of his dead friend for 19 days from the authorities yesterday walked free from court.

A 38-year old man admitted to gardaí that he put a family of an Ennis man through “three weeks of hell” by not telling them the missing man’s body was in his apartment all that time.
