Manchester City goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu will make his Ireland U21 debut in Thursday's European Championship qualifier against Armenia.

There will be no quarter-final place for Ireland in the U17 European Championships for a third year in a row after the hosts could only manage a third draw in a row and bowed out of this year’s tournament.

The Republic of Ireland Under-17s have earned another draw in the European Under-17 Championships.

Gavin Bazunu will be back on familiar ground on Friday evening, when Ireland kick off in the U17 European Championship against Greece in Tallaght Stadium.

Shamrock Rovers will receive a League of Ireland record fee if goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu plays for Manchester City’s first team or the senior international team.
