Discount clothing retailer Primark, which trades here as Penneys, has warned that the coronavirus could affect its supply chain and product lines later this year, if delays to factory production in China are prolonged.

Associated British Foods said sales growth slowed at its Primark clothing chain as business conditions returned to normal after an “outstanding” start to the year.

DISCOUNT fashion store, Primark, which trades as Penneys in Ireland reported a 20% surge in sales for the year to date.
