DOZENS of “cowboy” private security firms will be put out of business next year due to new regulatory measures for the industry, according to the Irish Security Industry Association (ISIA).

A CORK woman’s selfless bravery in leaping into the River Lee to save a drowning person earned her the annual courage award from the Irish security industry yesterday.
