A BRUISED teenage girl who is the only known survivor of a Yemeni jet crash clung to wreckage for more than 13 hours before rescuers found her floating in the Indian Ocean, a French official said yesterday.

The injured 14-year-old sole survivor of the Comoros plane crash told today how she clung to floating wreckage for 13 hours before she was found.

DOUBTS over the safety of a Yemeni jetliner were at the forefront yesterday after an Airbus 310-300 carrying 153 people crashed into the Indian Ocean as it came in for a landing during howling winds on the island nation of Comoros.
