PRESENTATION BROTHERS COLLEGE, Cork, were crowned Avonmore Munster Schools’ Senior Cup champions for the 28th time at Thomond Park yesterday when they turned in a highly impressive performance in defeating Rockwell.

PRESENTATION BROTHERS COLLEGE, Cork, and Rockwell College, Co Tipperary, two of the traditional strongholds of the game, clash in this afternoon’s (3pm) final of the Avonmore Munster Schools’ Senior Cup at Thomond Park.

ST MUNCHIN’S COLLEGE have come a long way since losing to Rockwell in the opening round of the Avonmore Munster Schools Cup. After being subjected to a hiding by a team that has now reached the decider, the Limerick side are on the cusp of joining them in the St Patrick’s Day showpiece.

CASTLETROY College enjoyed the biggest day in their seven-year history at Thomond Park yesterday when they defeated Presentation College Cork by 5-3 in the Avonmore Milk Munster Schools Junior Cup.
