GERMANY’S finance minister has made a blistering attack on Ireland’s low corporate tax rate and accused the country of using EU money to fund unfair competition.

THE EU’s strategy for making Europe the most competitive economy in the world by 2010 is in trouble according to the Union’s largest business organisation.
