A woman has pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court to killing her partner in Carlow two years ago.

Limerick hurling manager Richie Bennis has hit out strongly at a group of players whom he says "broke their hearts in training and then went drinking".

Former All-Ireland winning midfielder Richie Bennis has been appointed as Limerick senior hurling manager, taking on a two-year term.
