A mother told an inquest that Dutch police who saw her son’s body floating in an Amsterdam canal in front of them failed to act and as a result his body was subsequently shredded by a barge propeller.

THE family of Irish man Paul Nolan Miralles who were left to recover his dismembered remains from an Amsterdam canal after police called off a search for the missing man, have said they are taking action against the Dutch authorities.

THE family of Irishman Paul Nolan Miralles, who recovered most of his dismembered remains themselves from an Amsterdam canal last week, have said no family should have had to endure their trauma and the horror of “picking up bits of a loved one”.
