A Dublin man has been acquitted by direction of the trial judge of robbery and of falsely imprisoning a Brinks Allied employee, his mother, and a child.

The jury in the trial of a man accused of being involved in a tiger kidnapping has been discharged having failed to reach a verdict.

A man has gone on trial charged with a false imprisonment and robbery of a Brinks Allied worker which the prosecution claim has the accused’s “fingerprints both literally and figuratively all over it”.
