A 16 year old who has been left profoundly deaf after a tragic accident as a baby when the family car rolled along the driveway and crushed her carry cot against the house has settled her High Court action for €1m.

The High Court has granted an injunction against the Master of the High Court, Edmund Honohan, following his decision to refer papers on a case to the DPP for a perjury investigation.
