Hit band the Arctic Monkeys are £20,000 (€29,550) richer today after a coveted music prize.

A member of the record-breaking Arctic Monkeys who missed a recent international tour due to “fatigue” has now left the band for good, it emerged today.

The Arctic Monkeys bass player has pulled out of the rock group's North American tour because of exhaustion.
