A 24-YEAR-OLD man has been sentenced to life in prison at the Central Criminal Court for the murder of his friend in a row in Co Wicklow last year.

HAVING been denied justice for close on three decades, the relatives of victims of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings deserve nothing less than a sworn public inquiry into the atrocities.

Three families of those killed in the 1974 Dublin and Monaghan bombings today demanded that the newly opened parliamentary inquiry into the atrocities be abandoned.
