Nelson Mandela called Albertina Sisulu "one of the greatest South Africans" as the nation mourned a woman celebrated for her role in the fight against apartheid.

Anti-apartheid campaigners were paying tribute today to Walter Sisulu, one of the top leaders of the African National Congress, who died at the age of 90.
