Jamaica’s top police officer appealed for calm today after an alleged drugs baron was arrested.

Reputed gang leader Christopher “Dudus” Coke, who eluded a bloody police offensive in his slum stronghold last month, has surrendered to authorities in Jamaica, local news media has reported.
