A Fiji court found eight men guilty of conspiracy to murder today in connection with a plot to assassinate the South Pacific island nation’s prime minister.

Fiji's military regime will appoint new top judges early next week to replace justices sacked two weeks ago when the president abolished the nation's constitution, an official said.
